Township officials anticipate extending the trail along the western side of Weaver Road south to Buch Ave. It then loops around the eastern and southern edges of the complex to Weaver Road. The trail turns west immediately south of this crossing and parallels Route 722 via a sidewalk for about 1500 feet, then turns south into the Manheim Twp. The crossing of Route 722, a heavily traveled, suburban road, is poorly marked with no signage or crosswalks, so users should be very careful.

It extends further south from this sectgion, paralleling the access road to Route 722. The trail continues south from this loop through a wooded area and circles around a second, larger section of the park, with athletic fields, playground equipment and picnic pavilions. Part of Manheim Township's growing greenway network, the paved, multi-use trail begins at the access road to the Manheim Township Community Park and loops around athletic fields and a playground at the northern end.
